Joyce M. Rose-Harris – Founder & Editor (editor@paisleyperspective.com)

Joyce is passionate about poetry and politics and now add to it PaisleyPerspective. She has poems published in the anthology ‘Home Is Where: An Anthology of African American Poetry from the Carolinas’ published by Hub City Press as well as the anthology ‘Chemistry of Color: A Response to Art’ both edited by Dr. Kwame Dawes. She created this blog to share opinions and ideas of various topics and subject matter. Writing has always been a source of joy starting in childhood for her. PaisleyPerspective is primarily looking for poems, stories, insights, and photos from female contributors but men are also welcomed to send submissions. Mallori Alise Scott – Feature Contributor

A Chicago native and proud fan of Da Bears, Mallori Scott is transitioning to Northern Virginia. She has accomplished her goal of becoming a certified Yoga instructor. And of course, annoying her wonderful adult son, Joshua.

Sufia Giza Amenwashu – Poetry Contributor

Sufia Giza Amenwahsu is a dub-poetess; filmmaker; author & Spanish instructor. She has made three documentaries; has two spoken word CDs; three chapbooks and co-founded an Independent film festival with her husband, Baba Seitu Amenwahsu. She and her beloved perform spoken word/music and present workshops together. Sufia is the co-founder of the Reel Black Pix Film Festival held the first weekend of February in Columbia, SC.

Keiana Page – Photography Contributor

Keiana Page is a freelance photographer, public relations specialist, and self-proclaimed artsy person. Her work has appeared in several publications including The Clinton Chronicle. In 2006, she received an award for her photo story “Special Torch” from the South Carolina Press Association.
