Two days into 2018 it is back to business as usual for most. Like years prior there will be packed gyms. Sells in workout gear will increase as well as salad consumption. But my question is why? Just because it is a new year doesn’t mean you have to remake yourself.
Rather than jumping headfirst into what has a high probability of turning into failure why not rethink the resolution process? This can be done by looking back at goals made in 2017 that weren’t fulfilled. Determine what happened to not be as successful as you would have liked. Then move forward from that assessment.
Making resolutions isn’t a bad thing. But setting yourself up for high expectations just because it’s new year is too much pressure. Each day seeking to be better than the prior day will move you toward your goals. And when you fall short remember you’re human before all else.
